We traveled up north to Shanty Creek Resort to enjoy a family vacation. We stayed at Snowshoe Condos for five nights with Dan's parents. A great time was had by all, and boy are we exhausted from all the fun. We saw dozens of deer, and turkey's on the grounds and Trayton loved every minute.
We swam in the pool, got warmed up in the hot tub and even went fishing! 
A few of us took a walk to the end of a peninsula off Old Mission Pointe in the Grand Traverse Bay to find a huge pile of rocks. 
Next time we go we hope to take a walk across the water to the island nearby. The rocks in the water seem to go on for miles, I wonder how shallow it really is? 
I'm not sure who loved having Grandpa and Grandma around more, me or Trayton. He sure loves to see all those that love him! It was nice to have Unlce Mike come for a couple days too. All in all, we really enjoyed the time away from the daily grind. We were glad to come home, only to have a full weekend ahead with Thanksgiving day right around the corner. Happy Holidays everyone.
